The epicenter of the 1923 Great Kanto earthquake was deep beneath Izu Ōshima Island in Sagami Bay. 1923년 간토 대지진 의 진앙지는 사가미 만의 이즈오 섬 밑이었다.

They exercise considerable ingenuity to present you with a variety of marine life, including the large tank recreating the underwater world of Sagami Bay and the beach for sea turtles. Dolphin shows are held three to five times a day. 사가미 만의 바닷속 세계를 재현한 대형 수조와 바다거북의 해변 등 여러모로 궁리하여 고안을 거듭한 다채로운 전시가 매력적이다. 돌고래 쇼는 매일 3~5회 열리며, 토요일, 일요일 및 공휴일에는 두 종류의 쇼를 펼친다.
